KELLOGG'S REBATE
I love rebates! What better way to get free items? Here is a promotion from Kellogg's that is still going on and you will have to take advantage of. All you have to do is buy 10 Kellogg's items (check the rebate form, but this includes Kellogg's,Keebler,Eggo, Sunshine, MorningStar Farms, and Right Bites). Buy them in one transaction and save your receipt and upc symbols. Go to the Kellogg's "Fuel For School" website here and look in the bottom right hand corner to sign up and download the rebate form. Mail it all in before September 30, 2009. Kellogg's will send you a check for $10.00 along with a $70.00 coupon code from Dell. I am waiting on my check as we speak.

My out of pocket was $5.92. When all is said and done, after I receive my rebate check, I will have made a profit of $4.08. So, basically, Kroger paid me to take those items off their hands! I never pass up a rebate. I love getting checks in the mail.

$24 MEIJER TRIP
Just to show how well coupons work, I thought I'd post my Meijer trip today. I got all this for $24 and I will tell you why that is such a great deal!I bought: 6 Lysol Duel Action Wipes (FREE!), 10 Gatorades, 5 Propels (FREE!), 4 12-pack Coke Products, 1 pack 500 napkins, and 1 double roll paper towels.
Now, the Lysols would have been $16.62 had I paid regular price. The Propels would have been $5.45. My savings right there is $22. 07! The soft drinks were only $2.48 a pack. That is a bargain for TAB! I don't normally use that brand of paper towels, but they were on clearance and since we have been using Halloween pumpkin paper towels for the past week, I thought I'd try them. Plus, it said I would save a million trees if I bought that brand, so good karma and all......

- Kroger has Hershey's 8 packs on sale this week (8/23-8/30) buy 4 get one free =5 for $5. If you use your Reese's 55 cent coupon from the Smart Source 8/23 insert, this means that you can get an 8 pack of Reese's for 25 cents.
- TIP: Typically we buy 4-6 papers every Sunday just for the coupons. Trust us-you will more than make up the money you spend on papers. I had 4 Reese's coupons, all of which doubled to $1 at Kroger, so I was able to get five 8-packs of Reese's (YES, 40 Reese's!) for $1. So all in all, I spent .025 cents per Reese's!! - Another screaming deal at Kroger this week is the Chef Michael's dog food. Use the coupons from the Red Plum 8/23 insert to get free and VERY cheap dog food. The 5 ounce bag is free with coupon and the 24 ounce bag is 89 cents! I was able to get 4 free small bags and 4 large bags for 89 cents (because I bought 4 newspapers). Russell will eat well this week! PAYING WITH CHANGE!
- CVS has a Hershey's deal this week as well. All Hershey's candy bars are on sale 2/$1 (singles). You can use the same Reese's coupon as above and get a Reese's single for free. Now, you do the math....where do you want to use your coupon? PAYING WITH CHANGE!
